Of lanterns and good photography

Lantern festival yesterday..Here are the pictures







That's my Orange Bug. Chipped number plate. Anyways Ash(the hooded racist) has learnt a few interesting things about the Chinese culture yesterday.
She learned the art of lighting a lantern and burning her hands with the metal string situated above the candle.
She learned( from me) how to make a tanglung stick(made out of two satay sticks and ducktape) with a strong fulcrum.Which broke(only 1) anyway.
She's learnt...
A lot.
